Click Bank have some great products but...
you have to check out for a few things
1. gravity
2. Landing page - create your own ( or even better a whole new website and promote a few of those products like a review site) save tons on PPC engines
3. stay away from music and download software products
stick to good e-books ( look on review sites or onlinemoneyscams review sites for the good ones ) even if those review sites are promoting those products and getting affilates cut. these guys know what they are promoting buy the product and follow their lead there is room for everybody, remember we are in the win win game.
4. use clickbank affilate alert program. the starters version is free and it tells you of new product but more then that it gives you a report of how that product is doing in the last 3 to 6 months is it dead or alive
5. the direct adwords to landing page scheme is begining to become to saturated and slowing down
i would invest NOW in staring to offer FREE newsletter and getting an opt-in list which is crucial (in 9 month of hard work you can get 10,000 e-mails - yes a little hard work payes off - dont buy lists - its border line SPAM - i know what people think but in my eyes its still borderline spam )
and then just promote to your opt-ins good solid money making e-books they will buy from you
