It's amazing how people don't get informed before geting into a web business (business???).
I agree with Ian. You should listen to him, he is one of the first timers here and he knows a lot of this subject.
Kingsun, my advice is the following. Start reading forums about how to build a web site and earn money in a way that lasts. "Get Rich Quick Schemes" don't work.
It will benefit you if you spend a couple of months or so reading and learning. If you start your web presence correctly, believe me, you'll win. I'm not talking about being rich. I'm talking about making a living. A standard living, a good living, an excellent living. It depends on you.
Here's some good reading:
Webmaster's general forums and blogs:

forums.digitalpoint.com
seroundtable.com
Affiliate programs forum:
www.abestweb.com
Web marketing blogs:
problogger.com (it's about making money. A good one!)
freetraffictips.com (although it looks horrible, you can find some useful info about blog marketing if you have lots of patience...)
Building amazon only malls isn't working anymore. And when it worked it was only a seasonal business. You have to add your own unique content.
No matter what you've been told, stay away from:
Automatic articles generators
Popunders traffic exchanges
Automatic Blog and Ping
in fact, you should stay away from everything that generates content without the intervention of a human beign.
Well, this is something very basic and incomplete, but my advice is to start reading the right thing. If what you read contains words like "Rich", "insane amounts of ....", "Make millions", "Exclusive formula" etc, etc. you will fail (unless you want to write your own "secret formula" and cheat people with that).
Hope this helps
