关注ROI——Return on Investment-“投资回报率

一,提高ROI有2个办法:
1,降低Adwords成本:
a,提高Quality Score,随着Quality Score的提高,降低关键词的CPC,仍然能保持原来的广告位置
b,寻找更多低分值的关键词

2,提高转换率
c,在广告中包含产品的price,能有效提高转换率,但往往会降低CTR。不过需要考虑负面影响,综合考虑是否采取
d,使用Reviews Page,Reviews Page的转换率大多数情况下比直接连接到商家要高的多

二,设定广告目标——达到200%ROI的平均水平
在Adwords广告开始前,可以参考转换率1%的情况,假如利润是$20,要达到200%ROI,完成一次销售的广告成本应低于$10

转换率1%,100点实现1次销售
平均点击价格=$10/100=$0.1,这样才能实现200%ROI

当然这只是一个参考,也是我现在Adwords操作的实际参考数值,我也在尽量使用$0.1的关键词
具体价格请按照实际转换率计算。

I posted this as a reply to another thread...this is a very rough guide...but works well for me!

You need to think more in terms of ad cost versus roi (return on investment) than average position.

Here is a guideline I use...I repeat...this is a guideline

Lets assume $20 commission and you want 100% roi as a goal

two word keyphrases convert 1:100 to 1:300 (don't spend more than .10)
3 word keyphrases convert 1:100 (.10)
3 word keyphrase with a verb in front 1:50 to 1:100 (.10 to .15)
4 word keyphrase convert 1:50 (.20)
4 word keyphrase with verb in front 1:30 to 1:50 (.20 to .30)
product name keywords 1:20 to 1:30 (.30 to .50)
product name keywords with verb in front 1:10 to 1:30 (.30 to $1)

Verb may also be a qualifier...like best, cheapest, etc

Now ideally you want to be on the first page...

So when you factor in all of the above...it is easy to see what your mission is...to find 3 & 4+ word phrases and product name phrases that will get you on the front page without spending more than the above...or settle for a lower position...

That is how I make money all day long using adwords...other people may approach it differently...

I would still say you would be very wise to use "sticky ad" technique on the keywords you come up with...

Realize that you won't usually get those numbers right away...that is where all the tweaking comes in.
